Terms & Conditions

1. What Waxrunner is

Waxrunner ("Waxrunner", "we", "us") is a free tool, run by Bradley Macquine from the Netherlands, that helps you buy the records on your Discogs wantlist for the lowest total price by combining listings across sellers, and helps you add those listings to your Discogs cart. You connect your own Discogs account to use it.

2. Not affiliated with Discogs

Waxrunner is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Discogs. "Discogs" is a trademark of its respective owner. Your use of Discogs remains subject to Discogs' own terms of service, and you are responsible for complying with them. We act only on your behalf, using the access you grant us.

3. Your account and responsibilities

4. How purchases work

Waxrunner does not sell anything, holds no inventory, and processes no payments. All purchases are made by you, directly on Discogs, with the relevant sellers. The optional "add to cart" helper runs in your own browser using your own Discogs session — we never see your Discogs password or complete any purchase for you.

5. Accuracy — prices and availability

Prices, shipping estimates, seller details and availability shown in Waxrunner are read from Discogs at a moment in time and are indicative only. They can change or sell out, and may occasionally be inaccurate or out of date. Optimization results are a best-effort suggestion, not a guarantee. Always verify the final price and availability on Discogs before completing a purchase.

Waxrunner provides automated suggestions to help you shop — it does not provide financial, commercial, or purchasing advice. Any buying decision is yours.

6. The service is provided "as is"

Waxrunner is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will always find the cheapest possible combination. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the service, in whole or in part, at any time.

Waxrunner also depends on third-party services, including Discogs. We cannot guarantee the continued availability of those integrations: if Discogs changes, limits, or blocks API access, or changes its rules or pricing, parts of Waxrunner may stop working — temporarily or permanently.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Waxrunner is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the service — including, for example, decisions made based on prices or availability shown, or purchases made on Discogs. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Dutch law (such as liability for intent or gross negligence), and your mandatory rights as a consumer are not affected.

8. Intellectual property

The Waxrunner name, branding, and the service itself belong to us. Your data remains yours, as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use Waxrunner after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have in your country of residence.
